The 1st Executive Meeting was held in Hong Kong, China during February 9-11, 2001. In this meeting, the organization of the ARCCNM was composed of the following 3 parts: Executive Board, Working Group, and Task-Force Group.

Dr. Myung-Chul Lee was elected as the first Chairman of the ARCCNM. Three Vice Chairmen (Dr. Karim for the South Asia Chapter, Dr. Masjhur for the South East Asia Chapter, Dr. Suzuki for the Far East Asia Chapter) were also elected in each chapter, Dr. June-Key Chung for Secretary General and Treasurer, and Dr. Xiu-Jie Liu, Dr. Felix X. Sundram, Dr. Cheuk Man Tong were approved as advisory members.
