The 6th Annual General Meeting of ARCCNM
September 3 – 7, 2007 Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
On behalf of the Asian Regional Cooperative Council for Nuclear Medicine(ARCCNM), I am very pleased to invite you to the 6th Annual General Meeting of ARCCNM to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from September 3rd to 7th, 2007. This conference will be held in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (ICRT-2007).
The conference is being organized in collaboration with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), World Federation of Nuclear Medicine & Biology (WFNMB), European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), Asia Oceania Confederation of Nuclear Medicine & Biology (AOCNMB), World Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Council (WRPTC), Mongolian Nuclear Medicine Society and Mongolian Radiological Society. We are expecting a large number of participants and highly distinguished international speakers from all over the world. The coming meeting will provide much more productive opportunity to share and exchange all the new information of recent advancement of nuclear medicine.

2. IMPORTANT DATES

4. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
|
|
Please send abstract directly to ARCCNM Secretariat (arccnm@plaza.snu.ac.kr) by 30 March 2007. After reviewing your abstract, ARCCNM will support your participation at the Conference. And your submitted abstracts will transfer to the local organizer in Mongolia.

5. ARCCNM SUPPORT
|
|
After evaluation of your abstract, ARCCNM will provide lump-sum support US$ 1,000 for each valued abstract submitter. US$ 1,000 may not be enough for your participation at the conference, but please kindly understand that ARCCNM fund is very limited.
|
|
‘ARCCNM Support’ will be given to outstanding professionals under 40 years of age at the time of the congress. It will be required to submit a copy of the passports of winners.
|
|
Eligible countries for ‘ARCCNM Support” are as Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam.

6. CONFERENCE PACKAGE
|
|
The WRPTC in collaboration with the local organizers has developed a comprehensive package for our participants, which would include the following:
1. Accommodation in a first class hotel (Hotel Chinggis Khaan) in Ulaanbaatar for six nights and 7 days.
2. All breakfasts
3. Six lunches
4. Six dinners including the Oenophilous dinner, Gala Dinner and an Official Banquet
5. Two coffee breaks per day (Monday to Friday)
6. Airport transportation (Pick-up and dropping)
7. Social activities and Day-tour (Gir village, Nadam-Mini Mongolian National Festival etc.)
The cost of this entire package would be US$ 740.00 per person (with single accommodation). If you would like to share your room with some one (choosing a room partner is the responsibility of the participants. It is not the responsibility of the organisers), that is two people staying in one room; the entire package would cost US$ 590.00 per person. In this case both persons are entitled to all the above listed facilities for a combined lump-sum of US$ 1180.00.
They will strive hard to accommodate all participants in hotel Chinggis Khaan. It may be noted that the hotel rooms are limited and will be allocated to participants on a first come first serve basis. It is therefore important to register early and make the lump-sum payment early. In order to plan our activities well and make them cost-effective, all participants who intend to attend the conference will be required to pay the entire package amount well in advance, but definitely before 5 May 2007.
Please note that the lump-sum includes six nights stay in Hotel Chinggis Khaan, starting 2nd September (Sunday) to 7th September (Friday). In order to maximize the benefits of this lump-sum offer, you should reach Ulaanbaatar on 2nd September (Sunday) and depart at any time on 8th September 2007 (Saturday). The checkout time is 12:00 noon of Saturday. But the hotel has agreed to allow late checkout on Saturday depending on your flight schedule. The conference ends at noon time of Friday (7th September). In this case you will have some more time to relax with friends and enjoy the sights and sounds of Ulaanbaatar on Friday afternoon and evening before leaving for your homes on Saturday.

7. Others
|
|
We would like to inform you that September is the peak time of Mongolian Tourist Season. In order to avoid last minute disappointment, I would urge you to book your flights and pay your lump-sum as early as possible. The best way to reach Ulaanbaatar is to first reach Seoul / Beijing / Moscow / Berlin / or Tokyo and then take the connecting flight (Mongolian airline or Korean Airline or Aerofloat) to Ulaanbaatar .
