| The 1st Working Group Meeting was planned
to be held in Lahore, Pakistan from October 31 to November 2
in conjunction with the Pakistan National Society Meeting, by
the cooperation of Dr. Asghar, the President of Pakistan Society
of Nuclear Medicine.
However, the relations between Afghanistan and
the United States went to bad to worse after the WTC terrorism,
and we finally decided to change the meeting venue from Pakistan
to Thailand due to the unstable situation of those days.
